COURSES OFFERED
Gayatri College of Nursing offers two main academic courses designed to prepare students for a successful career in the healthcare field.
B.Sc Nursing
The first course is B.Sc. Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), which is a professional undergraduate program. This course provides in-depth knowledge of nursing science, patient care, and modern medical practices. It focuses on developing critical thinking, leadership skills, and clinical expertise among students.

GNM
The second course is GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery), which is a diploma program. This course emphasizes basic nursing care, maternal and child health, and community healthcare. It is designed to train students in practical skills required for hospital and community settings.
The B.Sc. nursing degree program is a four-year fulltime program comprising eight semesters, which prepares B.Sc. nursing graduates qualified to practice nursing and midwifery in a variety of settings in either public/government or private healthcare settings. The program prepares nurses and midwives for generalist nursing including midwifery practice. Knowledge acquisition related to wellness, health promotion, illness, disease management and care of the dying is core to nursing practice.
